Farm Experience

During the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and take part in a variety of local sustainable farming activities, divided into two engaging sessions.

  • The morning session runs from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, where you’ll explore the farm, participate in hands-on activities like compost making, organic planting, and learn about traditional farming methods used by local communities.

  •  The afternoon session starts from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, focusing on agroforestry, livestock care, and tree planting. You’ll also have time for reflection, tasting local farm products, or visiting the farm shop.

It’s a rewarding day filled with learning, cultural exchange, and real-life experience on a working sustainable farm in Tanzania.

Note: Children can participate to experience what it means to be a farmer, and show them where their food is coming from.
