3. Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after:

  • Receipt of the required deposit or full payment.
  • Written confirmation from Kifaru Quest Safaris.

We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

4. Pricing

All prices are quoted in the agreed currency unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change due to:

  • Government taxes or park fee adjustments.
  • Currency fluctuations.
  • Supplier price changes.
  • Changes requested by the client.

Once your booking has been confirmed, your agreed price will remain unchanged unless your itinerary is modified.

5. Payment Terms

A deposit may be required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due before your arrival or as agreed in writing.

Payments may be made using approved payment methods provided by Kifaru Quest Safaris.

Any bank charges or international transfer fees are the responsibility of the client.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

Refund eligibility depends on:

  • The date of cancellation.
  • Supplier cancellation policies.
  • Non-refundable government fees and permits.

Some services, including park fees, accommodation deposits, flights, and special permits, may be non-refundable.

If Kifaru Quest Safaris cancels a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer either:

  • An alternative tour of similar value, or
  • A refund for the unused services where applicable.

7. Changes to Bookings

Clients may request itinerary changes before travel.

Additional charges may apply if changes involve:

  • Accommodation upgrades
  • Flight changes
  • Additional park permits
  • Transport modifications
  • Extra nights or activities

Changes are subject to availability.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate personal information.
  • Ensuring passports remain valid for at least six months beyond travel.
  • Obtaining necessary visas.
  • Meeting vaccination and health requirements.
  • Purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.
  • Following the instructions of guides and staff throughout the trip.

9. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that every traveler obtains comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Trip cancellation
  • Personal accidents
  • Lost baggage
  • Emergency evacuation
  • Adventure activities where applicable

Kifaru Quest Safaris is not responsible for losses that could have been covered by travel insurance.

10. Health and Fitness

Certain activities, including Mount Kilimanjaro climbs and walking safaris, require a reasonable level of physical fitness.

Clients should disclose any medical conditions that may affect participation before booking.

11. Force Majeure

Kifaru Quest Safaris shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Severe weather
  • Political unrest
  • Government restrictions
  • Pandemics
  • Airline disruptions
  • Strikes
  • Park closures

12. Limitation of Liability

While we take every reasonable measure to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, Kifaru Quest Safaris shall not be liable for:

  • Personal injury
  • Illness
  • Loss or damage of personal belongings
  • Flight delays or cancellations
  • Acts of third-party service providers
  • Events beyond our reasonable control

Participation in safari and adventure activities is at the client’s own risk.

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, graphics, videos, and designs, is the property of Kifaru Quest Safaris unless otherwise stated.
