5-Day Hiking Safari Ngorongoro Highlands and Lake Natron

After pick up in Arusha you will drive to Olmoti crater where you descent to view the waterfall and the crater. After the ascent you will drive to the Empakai crater where you also go into the crater where you will see a lot of flamingos. Your first night will be at the rim of the crater.

The second day you will hike to Acacia camp (5-6 hours hike) through the Ngorongoro highlands. The landscape is amazing, Oldonyo Lengai is constantly on your sight. You will meet Maasai people during your hike. And your guide, ranger and the dunkeys will follow your path also. The camp will be set up under Acacia trees and diner will be prepared for you.

After breakfast you will hike to the bottom of Oldonyo Lengai ( 4 hours). Here the car will pick you and bring you to Lake Natron Maasai guesthouse. After lunch and resting you will walk to the village Engaresero where you can meet local maasai people. Diner will be served at the guesthouse.

After breakfast you will hiking to the waterfalls of Engaresero where you can take a swim in the very fresh water. AFter lunch you can visit Lake Natron with the huge amount of flamingos and you will be able to watch sundown from a nice viewpoint. Diner will be served at the guesthouse.

After late breakfast you will have time to travel back to Arusha. This ride will take approximately 5 hours and you will get a lunchbox. You will be drop off at any place you want.
